Further thoughts on the size of Blaze - Refugespace is described as small,
but we are not told how small - the smallest sphere whos size we are told
is Nexspace from "The Broken Sphere" which, IIRC, is 1 days travel (100
million miles) in diameter (I am deliberately ignoring Shadowspace). The
three Radiant Triangle spheres have diameters in the 1000's of millions of
miles.

The questions we need to ask are:

How far is Refuge from Blaze?
How big does Blaze look from Refuge.

For example:

We could have Refuge (actually Below) orbiting (say - these numbers are
just for illustration) 60 million miles out (Inner Track 3), with Welcome
orbiting 140 million miles out (Inner Track 7), so the diameter of
Refugespace is 560 million miles (a little over one sixth the size of
Realmspace, the smallest of the Radient triangle spheres).

If Blaze is size D, then it is at most 4000 miles in diameter, giving an
angular size of .004 degrees as seen from Refuge.
In comparison, the Sun has an angular size of 0.5 degrees as seen from
Earth, so in this case, Blaze as seen from Refuge is about 1/140th of the
size of the Sun as seen from Earth.
