As I said in my other post, why not ask if this table can be put onto Beyond 
the Moons. It would be far more useful if people could access this without 
needing to email you.

If that isn't possible, then I'd suggest signing up to Google Docs, where 
you can create online spreadsheets.

That document (my "Monsters as Characters" document) has tables and text 
mixed together. So if your spreadsheet doesn't need to perform calculations, 
you could copy the data over to something similar and add supplimentary 
notes.

Google Docs are also good for colaboration as you can allow individual 
people to view and edit your documents (so two or more SJ fans in different 
countries could work together on a single file).

You can also publish things (as I did with "Monsters as Characters") so that 
anyone can see it.

If you have something like Microsoft Office, you can prepare files at home 
and then upload the finished work to Google Docs. If you work from several 
computers, you can make adjustments online, or even start documents from 
scratch.

Tables can be a bit hard to adjust once created, so you might want to plan 
them before rushing in. (I'm currently hacking the HTML of my own "Monsters 
as Characters" document to move things around within the table.)
