Well, my concept for the planets (in more detail).

Air Worlds - has many flying/floating islands, the 'stalk' connecting it to
the Sphere Tree is an immensly tall, steep, inverted mountain whos 'peak'
is at the planets centre.

Water worlds - similar to the air worlds, but water, has an atmosphere and
islands floating on the surface, and many 'floating reefs' in the interior.

Earth worlds - terrain is mostly mountain, hills, or planes, but with many
small lakes and ponds. Extensive cavern systems honycomb the whole world.

Liveworlds - terrain is either dense forested in temperate or arctic zones,
or thick jungle in tropical zones. Climate zones do not follow latitudes.

One idea is there is an 'otherworldly' nature to the whole sphere, where if
you walk down a certain branch of the Sphere Tree at the right time, you
cound end up in another sphere, or another plane.

I'm going to have to think about your suggestion: other spheres have had
both earth worlds and liveworlds (Realmspace for a start), OTOH, I could
combine my concepts for Earth- and Liveworlds, and add strange 'etherial'
worlds, I need to think about it.

I'm not sure what to do about the suns/fire worlds ATM, I can't currently
think of any particular 'fire-fae', and there is the fact that there are
twice as many 'suns' as planets for some reason.

On a related subject, the original description of Fairyspace lists Djinni
as one of the inhabitants of the Upgood worlds - implying that other genii
types may inhabit the other worlds - this would let us add Efreeti to the
suns - now what is everyone's opinion, would adding genii races to this
sphere add or detract from its distinctiveness?
