Thanks mate :) making that window was a pain, as I tried to stick with
the illustration, it's a "blister" not just a simple cut out window.

Aye, beauty etc would be important to elven design, I think.

Very cool, I like the big window on the side. Makes it easier to see the
"recreational activities" going on hehe. Seriously though, it makes
sense to
have windows and high decks given that elves have long since lived in
the
forests are used to open spaces. I wouldn't put it past them to create
illusions inside with birdsong, wind, and open skies on the ceiling.

The poor crew on the Flynn with a mere 6' deck height from deck to
ceiling...

Well here's some more work :) going form the faint illustration on the
box
of SJ, I put a huge crystal panel down the side of the rear section
(it's
about 3' thick)
http://www.silverblades-suitcase.com/rhino/2007/manowar_2007_1k.jpg

and a low quality cartoon render (need to buy that render one day, lol)
http://www.silverblades-suitcase.com/rhino/2007/manowar_2007_11.jpg

I put two turrets on the rear section, up and down. (not SJ turrets, I
just
mean weapon emplacements ;) ) That I think makes sense, goes with Loki's
(??) work, up-gunning the vessel.

Anyone note the deckpalns let OUT any bloody doors into the Main Deck
Cargo/Detention (#3 on deckplan) areas? Lol!! Those areas are huge,
ceilings
go up to near 11', but not high enough for a true extra deck.

Sorry "Big Mac", but this ship does have 10' high decks ;) Again, SJ is
not
the actual Age of Sail, deckplans look very tall, elves culturally like
large spaces, allows bionids to operate if they are there, plus any
other
odd races/allies the elves have, allows room for tall plants. I can
agree
that many Human Tradesmen maybe made to "penny pinching"
scale, hehe, but not a Man-O-War made by *elves*.

The narrow tube connection between front and rear halves, I made larger,
allowing passageways on BOTH gravity planes (up and down) I may change
that
though and keep it to one plane and reinforce it, hm?

The deckplans also miss out the fact there's obviously a deck UNDER the
main
deck, plus the Cargo deck area has two grav plane defined decks too. The
way
the boxed set card is made, it looks like there's three decks in the
cargo
area, one above the others, but that's impossible, simply not enough
height
available (unless you built it for chatters, hehe), Building very close
to
exact deckplan scales, the maximum height between the internal walls of
the
rear section is 22'...but...the area is a tapered oval, plus the decks
themselves must be at least 6 inches thick...you'd end up with the
middle
deck with the grav plane going through the bloody MIDDLE of the middle
deck,
lol.
-However, if I move the entire tail section vertically up 6', it then
would
be plausible! Ah Ha!

When I finish it, I'll make a "ship card" with art and deckplan, oh
remind
me and I'll give you the exact volume too, so you can work ot tonnage
and
I'll put that in the "card"

 :)

I like the panel idea, its one I never thought of. As to the ships, I
belive
there are references to the both being crystal and beig grown from the
starfruit plant so I bet it could go either way.
