I see SJ having "low level crystal spheres", where piracy is rare and 
tactical speed is unimportant.

But I also see it having high level crystal spheres where crews expect 
regular attacks and several epic spellcasters are onboard.

I'd be tempted to the Radiant Triangle a newbie area and use places like the 
Crimson Sphere as epic areas.
