I've started producing a 3D map of the flow using Astrosynthesis, so far I've done the three 'core' spheres (Greyspace, Realmspace and Krynnspace), with the data mostly complete (quite a lot of graphical work still to do - mostly creating pictures of non-spherical worlds). Although Astrosynthesis is commercial software (but not to expensive), there is a free trial version on http://www.nbos.com/download/download-trial.htm that could be used to view maps. What I'm hoping, eventually, to do is to create a 3D map of the known spheres, analogous to the existing 2D maps already in existence, and get it hosted on Beyond the Moons. Astrosynthesis can handle spheres with 'normal' orbits, but spheres like Fariespace will require a certain amount of artistic license :). There is a free alternative to Astrosynthesis, called Celestia, found here: http://www.shatters.net/celestia/ This has some features that make it more suitable (namely, you can use any 3D object for a planet), but lacks others, like the ability to include game related data for each planet etc. I believe that someone is working on a Astrosynthesis to Celestia data converter, so I plan to convert my map to Celestia, again, eventually. I have a question, has anyone else done any Spelljammer maps in either of these two programs? (I did find a dragon-shaped galaxy someone had done, but I can't find it today). -- Charles I cannot give you that information on the grounds that it might be used to incinerate me.
