Behind the Dark Fist - Vodoni to Zalani

I just finished reading from Vodoni to Zalani .. I congratulate you on your 
effort, and commend you on the write ups with what information you had to 
work with.

I just have one question:

Would it have not been easier to just convert everything to AD&D v.3.5 
instead of using 2nd Edition rules?


I understand that a lot of players and DMs out there still play in 2nd 
Edition, but there are players and DM's (me included) that play with the 
v.3.5 rules now.

I'm currently DMing a campaign and I'm eventually going to send the players 
off into some spelljamming adventures.  Spelljamming is what really brought 
me back to AD&D when it came out, before that I was doing the Mystara world 
using 2nd Edition rules.

Mystara is one of my favorite world settings.  Spelljammer settings comes a 
close second.  I'm currently researching revisions of spelljammer tech for 
v.3.5.
