Actually, bracers are a problem too, since they are rigid arm coverings which go from wrist to elbow.

In order to be consistent with other races, we might want to allow some
armor if it were specially modified. Conceivably, some armor could be
worn that goes over the shoulder and is fastened at the crotch. It
couldn't be too rigid though.

I also don't allow hadozee to wear boots.

Brian Blessed rules! Lol ;)

Hm, all the talk of armour, chain tied to hair...no, it doesn’t fit, except
maybe thigh/legs. The wing flaps for such a big creature would need to go
from hips to elbow or even larger.

As said, if you puncture a wing flap, even a small one, and try to glide, it
WILL rip. The problem is a hadozee's mass is so huge compared to surface
area, when compared to say a flying squirrel. It means the wind force on the
flaps is far more powerful, any perforations will therefore start to rip,
since it's only skin...ick.
-Surface area vs mass. A 200lb ape puts huge strain on any weak areas,
versus a 2lb squirrel...and surface area vs volume/mass works against large
flying creatures.

I think if we say hadozee have a natural AC, ban them using armour, except
bracers, it would work out better and balance well with their ECL? :)

The ability to use hands/feet, and be ambidextrous makes good sense.

So, +2 Str, +2 dex, -2Cha, +1 nat AC/2HD, unable to wear armour, +4 climb
balance checks, able to take 10 on Climb Balance checks in combat, Two
weapon fighting bonus feat, their legs/feet can manipulate items (but not
enough to use weapons), +1 ECL...does that seem good? :)

the Hadozee"...

..mind you, Brian Blessed's Hawkman character in Flash Gordon was fairly
chunky, so it might just work.
