So long as the setting & rules are fairly unique, WotC doesn't have a leg to stand on; they push too far, and they could have the Space: 1889 folks breathing down their necks. Nevermind all the anime producers from whom they stole all a number of ideas for SJ monsters (bionoid/Gyvers, Lakshu, Gamero, etc).
