I don't know how this is possible. Every published document from WotC gets some amount of editing. Of course whatever the online offering will become will be edited. A few years ago, WotC spun off its periodicals department. All of those employees became a new, independent company called Paizo. Paizo then licensed from WotC the right to publish Dragon and Dungeon magazines, this included the right to use material WotC considered its product identity. WotC did not renew the license to publish the magazines. It also has not rehired the periodicals employees from Paizo. What I am trying to say is that whatever WotC does for its online subscription-based offerings, it will not be the same thing as the current magazines... but just online instead. The people who are doing the magazines now won't be the ones doing WotC's online subscription offering. There won't just be a "conversion" top digital format. The magazines as we know them are going to die come September. WotC certainly may resurrect the name Dragon and Dungeon for the new online subscription offerings. But let us not be fooled, it is won't be the same thing as what we know but just online instead. Regards, Eric Anondson
