As said, if the end of the ballista is outside the turret, and the mechanism
is inside, ti works. The picot point is like 1/3d back from the head, so it
would sit just inside the turret, thus leaving room for crew inside.

I need ot make a stone-firing ballsita model, a heavier one, as the two I've
created are really "light" and "Medium" ballistas.
Plus I should make a repeating-ballista, which really existed!

That should say: "Your roof cut out is 60 degrees, but I'm not sure that 
would be enough clearance for the width of a heavy balista. The balista in 
the illustration on page 21 of LotV seems to have a balista wider than the 
turret."

That will teach me to:
a) check that "number lock" is on before I type numbers into my numeric 
keypad and
b) not rely on Bill Gates to spellcheck my emails.
