Something just clicked when reading over parts of the FRCS. In it, it discussed how a dead character without a patron deity has a hard time being raised. Basically, without one, you only get 1d10 days to be raised, or your soul gets collected and only a wish brings you back after that. So, lets toss this in the mix: what happens to your soul if you die in a sphere where your god is *not* worshipped, and (if you use this setup) the plane of your god isn't accessable? Say a guy from Greatspace who worships Zeus goes to Grommspace, where Zeus isn't worshipped at all, and dies. Does Kong get his soul? Does anyone? Or does his soul wander the sphere as a ghost &/or some other type of undead? Do fiends prowl the etherals of various spheres looking to round up such lost souls? Or howabout a "Pirates of the Caribbean"-style "Davy Jones"? Something to think about/discuss. Heck, done right, that could set up a rather interesting, horror-type game with shades of 40k involved :D Adam ____________________________________________________________________________________ Bored stiff?
