Well the wings aren't meant to "flap" only flex ;)

I was thinking of putting braces under the wings, extending out, similar to
a Man-O-War, but much lighter and more simplistic to reflect Lizardman
style/tech etc.
Flagpole for support crossed my mind too :) I can model support wires that's
cool "netting" though makes HUGE amount of polygons
But no crows nest oddly I think that would be bad deviation from original,
and kin f unbalance the ship, but flagpole/support is cool.

Still trying to decide on the tail..a tail with crystal panel sides, to let
light in, to help incubate the lizardmen eggs would fit the original's
flavour, but a balcony with weapons platform would be more practical. I
could actually model both, swap them as need I suppose so you'd have a
"broodship" and a normal one, would that make more sense perhaps?

:)

Wasp was one of the ship's I was most reluctant to do because I knew I'd
have to go so far from cannon, but knew I had to get on with it ;)

You might also consider adding a central main mast in
the middle of those wheels, with support lines running
down to the sail-wings. A crow's nest might be on
top, as well as acting as a flagpole. Also,
anchor-weights would be needed to offset the weight of
the sail-wings, so that the wings can flap up & down.
Lots of rope, although that might be difficult to
render.
