Well here's pic of some more of the top deck, I decided to make the wings "workable" by the crew...otherwise why would you NEED crew for maneuverability, hm? ;) So they can be rotated by the crew using capstans. http://www.silverblades-suitcase.com/rhino/wasp3.jpg -----Original Message----- From: Spelljammer Setting Discussion [mailto:SPELLJAMMER-L@??????.???????.com] On Behalf Of Adam Miller Sent: 15 February 2007 17:11 To: SPELLJAMMER-L@??????.???????.com Subject: Re: [SPELLJAMMER] Building the Wasp in 3d --- Steven <steven.james.1@??????????.??.uk> wrote: > Adam, > Great minds think alike then, eh? ;) LOL...the Hornet was sorta inspired by various sports shirts with a diving hornet, stinger forward (almost impossible with a real hornet). It does have a huge hinge so the tail can swing. :) > Sorry to go so far off "cannon", but the Wasp, > isn't, it's not a wasp: it's a mosquito!! Looks > nothing like a wasp. Its like its missing a deck both below the main deck and above it (under the ballista area). Still can't figure the purpose of the decks next that "rollbar" :p The deckplans don't do it justice, I think. > Tail on the actual mosquito and Damselfly are ok, > but the wasp's would literally fall off, like the > head, and serves no purpose etc. <shrug> Guess its not much worse than the MoW & its tail joined by a narrow joint. :p Adam -- No virus found in this outgoing message.
