Another point is, why would you want a TAIL? Wasp, should have a balcony or
such at back with a ballista, but will put tail in so it doesn't stray too
far from original ;)

The ornate "thingymabob" on upper deck in front of ballista, that just
bothers me though it seems...superflous
Love original artists work, but Wasp seems very "un-wasp"

Can't wait to view it (blocked from work :( ) but from
the sound of it, you've seen EXACTLY the same problems
I found with the wasp, primarially the missing lower
deck & the funky wing design.  As far as metal on the
ship, well, does it have to be metal?  Some parts
might be natural materials, such as turtle shells or
something :)  Maybe metal parts are on human-build
wasp ships.
