Agreed. Some of those TSR cards were scraping the bottom of the NPC barrell for ideas. And some of the names they came up with? "Puirty Valor"? "Mitre LeMond"? It's like when you played back in junior high school, and the new guy wanted to game, so he made up a cheesey character and name and played once and then you never heard from him again. Then they went out and made an NPC card of his stupid character, insteasd of YOUR awesomely cool evil elven half-drow who looks like a surface elf and is really a complex individual who's just misunderstood and if you knew what he's been through in the past you'd understand why he's the way he is and if someone would just take the time to get to know him they might be able to change his life around so that one day he could enjoy the splendors of Arvandor which is what he truly desires deep down under his rough and violent exterior with a name that took you 2 weeks to come up with while pouring over old out of print editions of Tolkien and Tolkienesque books! But I'm not bitter..... Anyhow, I digress..... I'm surprised they didn't have a card for "Fubar the Barbarian" or some other asinine character. BTW- does anyone have the insert cards? -Blackmaer
