Thanks again.  I had to take an unexpected hiatus from the list and as 
such I've been out of the loop for a few months.  Hopefully I'll get a 
chance to post more after I'm done catching up on all of the posts I 
missed reading

Dugandorf is a VERY old character of mine that I will occasionally bring 
into my campaign as an NPC for a little comic releif.  I created him long 
before I knew much about gnomes and just never made any edits.  It's an 
easy fix just by saying that his entire name would have taken up another 
page in the book so therfore he used the name that humans call him.  
Snipping his actual name in lieu of condensing his "official" titles to 
fit on one page I think would make more sense to a Tinker Gnome.

(Yes, I just used Gnome and Sense in the same sentence.)

Should have read "A Critical Hit of Fire"  Again, sorry.  I'm still using 
2E Crit Hit table.  I figure the size of the fireball would depend on how 
much tape you use.  More tape = Bigger flame.  The idea here is to subtly 
suggest to PCs to wad up a bunch of it, set it on fire and catapult it 
over to an enemy ship.  No Hull damage, but a sticky glob of flaming gook 
stuck to the bottom of a wooden ship would be bad.

Explode? Doubt it.  Just light up a wad of Duct Tape (Wari Tape) and see 
what happens.  Flammable? Heck Yeah!  Saving Throw vs. Fire? Survival of 
book highly unlikely.  Of course the Wari Tape must absolutely be more 
flammable than real Duct Tape.  It's only natural with gnomish inventions.
