The beholders would use one standardised design too. Any variant designs 
that are reported to exist are obviously being made be inferiour mutant 
beholders who must be destroyed to ensure the purity of the true beholder 
race! ;-)

Actually, joking aside, has anyone ever designed any variations on the 
beholder race (different spells for eyestalks, one more or one less 
eyestalk, etc). I'd be interested to know what you did with them.

I wonder what Greygem might do to the local beholders in Krynnspace?
