Sorry for the hiatus...I hate it when RL gets in the way of my fantasy
time.

I got a couple of library submissions, if you're interested.

Title: "1001 Uses for Wari Tape"

Author: Dugandorf Dickerstien, Proffessor of Hydrodynamics and Aerospace
Technologies at the Universal University of Mount Nevermind (UMM), Sumo
Bang Loud, Tenure just short of being achieved but not that far off from
aquiring it in all actuality upon which his official title will change
to.....(Yadda-yadda-yadda)

Description: A vastly oversized book in length and width, but not really
thick, kind of like a child's big pop-up book. It's cover is made of a
strange, thin, grey substance about three inches wide that seems to be
layered and wrapped around itself. Kind of how you'd picture a mummy's
bandages. If the cover is unwrapped, it will be discovered that the it is
made entirely of this substance. The pages are normal gnomish paper,
although they are bound together with the same grey substance. The book
is written completely in gnomish.

Note: This should be enough to inspire enough fear in your player
characters as to convince them to quickly but gently put the book down and
leave the section of the library, or for that matter, the crystal sphere,
as quickly as possible. If they are either intrepidly brave or
incomprehensibly stupid however, they may read on.

The next page is a table of contents. The following section is a detailed
list of exactly 1001 uses for a gnomish substance called "Wari Tape." By
the way, number 437 indicates it's use as a book cover and or book binding
substance, therefore identifying that the PCs are actually holding some of
this substance in their hands as they speak. Most items on the list will
require a lot of thought as to how this substance can actually be used, as
it is ONLY a list and does not decribe the procedures for use.

The last and largest section of the book is a rambling list of references
and appedices along with a multi-full-page bibliography. However, hidden
within Appendix K, Section 11, Subsection r, Minisection IIX, in the
Microsection Coded Gamma Gamma Rho, you will find the instructions on how
to create the mysterious Wari Tape. This Alchemetic procedure includes
boiling down a rare plant leaf only found on Chislev in KrynnSpace and the
aquisition of a live Adherer. (There are subsections in another appendix
that indicate instructions on how to create a live adherer trap. Que
the "Oh My God" at any time.)

The only benefit this may have to PCs, other than if they are Gnomes, is
it appears that according to use number 788, the layered substance is
waterproof, and therefore could be used to temporarily patch a hole in the
hull of a spelljammer that can land on water and permit them to limp the
ship into port for repairs.

The downside, which is mentioned later in item number 983, Wari Tape is
highly flammable and therefore would make great kindling. I Crit Hit of
Fire on a ship patched up with Wari tape would be a bad thing.
