According to the following post Paul saw his reviews around January or February 2006: http://sjml.spelljammer.org/archive/oracle/200602/25-212842.html That helps a bit as it gives us a time frame to work with. This could have been put somewhere that has changed since 2006. Do you ever post in Wizard's Spelljammer Forums, Paul? If you do then it might have been in there. I know that the Wizards COMmunity boards (the Spelljammer Forums) get cleared out every so often. Maybe they were posted there and have been pruned since. The Wizards COMmunituy boards *claim* to have an archive themself, but they prune their archive as well as the live forum. So their archive isn't really much use. I tried using the Wayback Machines and got a total index of the Wizards COMmumity boards: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://boards1.wizards.com/ I've had a random surf around, although I'm suspecting that there is a problem with the Internet Archive for the later dates. The outer pages seem old, but the content in the Spelljammer forum looks like it is new stuff rather than archived stuff. I checked the HTML source code and some of the links in that are not going via the "web.archive.org" URL. However if you navigate to the Internet Archive version of the Wizard Forums (for a specific time period), scroll to the bottom and hit the archive link you seem to get old stuff that looks to be from that time period. You can navigate to Spelljammer threads that seem old (i.e. they are not on the live website any more) from there. (We could probably use the names of Adam's moons to confirm this as he churns them out on a pretty reliable schedule. ;-) ) To be honest I find the Wayback Machine to be a lot less useful at finding recent material. It now seems to be linked in with the Alexa (*cough* spyware *cough*) Toolbar and seems to ignore things that it used to cover. I'll try to find *other* people talking about Paul's reviews. Given the amount of flame wars on the Internet, hopefully there was someone out there that was irate enough to call Paul a "heretic". If they did they could actually be doing him a favor as they will give us another point of reference. ;-) ******************* EDIT: I just hacked the URL of the archive and after a couple of attempts I got the Wayback Machine to give me a list that just contained "archived pages" from previous versions of the Wizards Forums. It has a lot less "versions" that the first Waback link I mentioned: http://web.archive.org/web/*/boards1.wizards.com/archive/index.php/ Here is another snapshot that *should* just be the Spelljammer Forum (f-294) itself: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://boards1.wizards.com/archive/index.php/f-294.html There are a lot less snapshots that have that specific forum name (and I'm adding it to my list of Spelljammer links). Paul, try using this last link and looking at some of the different copies of the Spelljammer forums. You might see something you recognise.
