Unless new crystal sphere (I'll call it Takhisispace to avoid confusion with
the old Krynnspace) already had planets and moons and Takhisis shuffled them
around when she stole the world.

I think that astronomers on Krynn would notice that the planets were missing
if they were absent for 40 years. Takhisis might as well change the
constellations to spell out "under new management"! ;-)

"Aspects" or "avatars" might be nice (they are already mentioned in
Krynnspace), but they are not essential.

What is essential is clerical access to spells and Wizard (of High Sorcery)
access to spells. This requires a dimensional conduit to the new home of the
gods.

I'm Takhisis and so is my wife! ;-)

I would think that the first people to settle the new world would be the
ones that got to name it.

By the way, what happend to Takhisis's flying citadel (Dragonhelm's Guide
page 5) that flew into space? If it didn't crash anywhere, then presumably
it could be captured and towed to the empty spot where Krynn used to be.

Actually (get ready to add the cheese) when the gods find Krynn they could
repair the River of Souls so that it goes from that spot to the new outer
planes (I see it flowing from Krynn, through the new outer planes, then the
old outer planes and onto the old locaton of Krynn). You could then use
Takhisis's flying citadel as something similar to Deep Space 9! It could
guard the gate to the start of the River of Souls.

Divine energy (including energy from Krynn's moons) could flow in and out of
the River of Souls making it a source of power for the clerics and Wizards
of High Sorcery and source of devotional power for the departed gods.

Any alien dragons (dragon overlords) planewalking their way into Krynnspace
via the River of Souls could arrive in front of a flying citadel equiped
with many defensive weapons.
