[grin] Bah, players can exploit a freak'n cantrip to cause an apocolypse, so I'm not overly worried about that ;) Revised spell below: Endless Atmosphere Conjuration (Creation) Level: Cleric 9, Druid 8, Sorcerer/Wizard 9, Creation 9 Components: V, S, M, XP Casting Time: 1 minute Range: Personal Target: One ship Area of Effect: One ship Duration: Permanent, see text Saving Throw: None (harmless) Spell Resistance: No Endless Atmosphere creates an eternally regenerating air envelope of fresh air surrounding a spelljamming ship. The air can be fouled by the standard means, such as by spell or contact the fouled atmosphere of a ship. The spell will drive out this fouled air and restore the ship to the condition of fresh. Endless Atmosphere creates air at the rate of 2 man-hours per round, or enough fresh air for 1,200 man-sized creatures. Should a ships atmosphere become fouled, deadly, or destroyed entirely, Endless Atmosphere will renew or create a new atmosphere at the rate listed above. If another ships air envelope comes in contact with that of the target ship, the spell will restore the combined air envelope as above. This spell does not function when in the Phlogiston. Should a ship with an Endless Atmosphere enter the Phlogiston, the spell will cease working and the ships atmosphere will degrade as normal. When the ship returns to wildspace, the spell will once again begin regenerating the ships atmosphere. The spell ends if the ship is destroyed. The spell can only be cast on objects of planetary size Fine (A) or smaller. Thus, an Endless Atmosphere might be cast on a small asteroid to create a stable atmosphere, and over time, a living oasis in wildspace. Material Component: A small platinum box with tiny slits in two sides. Inside this box are several silk screens. The box costs 1,000 gp to construct. The box is consumed in the casting.
