[snip] There might be issues about what these eat. I'd also like to know why they aren't that much of a hazard to the dohwar. Restricted hunting grounds? If the weather is so much of a hazard to spelljamming in the atmosphere of Ise, what do the dohwar do to deal with this? I might also mention a certain (legendary) spell that looks as though it might be particularly appropriate to this world. It is called "Pluck"! There are both versions allowing a saving throw, and those that don't - in the conditions on this world the spell could be a near death sentence (normally it is just considered very, very, embarassing! [grin] "My feathers!" [grin] ). (The legends say that this spell was originally developed to upset a certain species of eighteen-foot tall, intelligent, armour-plated parrots - yes, their feathers also made really good armour, and they had beautiful blue plumage!) -- Dreamer dreamer@??????.?????.??.uk http://www.romsys.demon.co.uk/
