Heh, I like Kender, Gully Dwarves, & Tinker Gnomes
myself, but then again, I've never had a game where
they were present, except one tinker gnome in Jammers,
and he doesn't play the 'mad scientist' roll.  All
manner of ideas for weapons more dangerous to the user
than the target, but he's not tearing the ship appart
for parts, either.

Unfortunately, I think all three would make excellent
characters, but are very easily abused and
misunderstood, leading to bad experiences and general
dislike of said races.  Truly unfortunate, really :(
