I was thinking more in terms of weaponry and certain gadget functions.  Maybe 
I'm too impressed at how IK integrates science and sorcery. But I think  
you're keeping magic and tech a little too far apart. Then again there are a  
class or two that I rather enjoy that Privateer Press came up with on its  
lonesome for their gritty steampunk setting and of the two, I like the Gun Mage  the 
better of the two.
