Well, to me SJ is more like Science Fantasy, I love the game although  
unfortunately more and more of the concepts from Spider Moon are growing on me.  
Ditching the air envelopes and gravity planes for a centralized gravity and self  
contained air system is making more and more sense to me. Add in some early  
cannons/firearms like maybe stealing from Iron Kingdoms and you have something 
 that may be more palatable to today's audience. Originally SJ was 
Renaissance  level technology. Today it may need to be upgraded to steampunk. Steampunk  
fantasy focusing on space travel.
