Thanks for all the suggestions, from several people!

There are supposed to be some Rus around, but I _think_ Siberia
is supposed to be Terra Incognita, so I'm not sure not they got
there. It might make snse to replace them with the Nihon Empire
(or Cathay) - Iberia and Albion fighting it out with the
Japanese/Koreans in NW Vinland?

I'm not at all sure where the Franks are in Vinland - I think it
is assumed mostly the East coast. Internal political problems
are supposed to be making life difficult for them - they consist
of France, Germany and Holland!

Nova Albion is supposed to be attractive as it is a SJ port, and
Albion is taking full advantage of that, using military SJ ships,
probably stationed on Selene (the Moon).

It seems likely that there are Albion settlements on the West
coast - historically there were also some in Vespucia
(S.America).

That sounds as though it could be fun!

I'd have to look at the maps to see if I understand this.

This seems likely to be the strongest Frankish presence on
Vinland, and if it follows the pattern of other SJ ports there
are likely Frankish setlements East, while the Iberians are
encroaching from the West.

People are pushing dates back and forwards, to mix together
cities and empires that suit them!

I'm pretty sure people will want pirates there! [grin]
