Wulffe Lord is working on the Iberian (Spanish) parts of Vinland
(North America) for Maj in Maj Space.

The current rough map shows my first attempt at Vinland:

http://www.romsys.demon.co.uk/frpg/spelljam/majspace/maps/vinland.gif

This does not include anything for the Franks (French/German/
Dutch), or much for Albion (British). An idea was that much of
the interior is still native American, with the Star State
(Colorado) being the most organised part of that.

Here are some of the sparse notes on Vinland:

New Amstelredam (New York) is currently Norse, and was previously
Frankish (Dutch). The Norse currently hold much of the North-
East coast of Vinland, after a successful invasion about twenty
years ago from the modern-named island of Newfoundland, when the
Franks became far too focused on internal problems and their two
nearby SJ ports of Randstad (Rotterdam) and Massalia (Marseille).
This gave the Norse their own SJ port, and they intend to take
maximum advantage of it.

Nova Albion (San Francisco) was orginally settled by Albion after
its discovery in about 1580 C.E., via the spelljamming craft
"Golden Hind", but it has gone backward and forward between them
and the Iberians. Albion has held Nova Albion for the last ten
years and Iberia does not look like arguing about this, at least
for a while. There are also nearby Rus. A noted landmark is
Plymouth Square.

New Crescent (New Orleans) is on a border, presumably having had
Franks, Iberian and Albion influence.

Wulfee Lord suggests - in Vinland Iberia controls:

Mexico, Guatemala, Belize, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica,

Iberia controls about half of Panama, they are currently fighting the Incan
Empire for control of Panama, at the moment it's a stalemate and Iberian
expansion has halted at where the Panama Canal would be.

Moving north, Iberia controls Southern Texas (up to about Lubbock across to
Dallas and down to Houston), Southern New Mexico and Southern Arizona, Baja
California, up past Los Angeles to Monterey, and all of the San Joaquin
Valley area up to Fresno. The Valley area is a major bread basket for
Iberia in Vinland. Monterey is a military stronghold with a several
Warmages in residence, the garrison keeps a watchful eye to Nova Albion
about 40 miles to the north.

I'm afraid that I'm not good enough at American history or
physical geography to sort this out. Does anyone have any ideas?
