I've seen some SJ settings where "no drow in space" is the rule,
and the IEN swear this is the case.

It depends what sort of game you want to run.

Renegade drow wizard-creators, secretly not very religious,
deliberately avoiding the Lolth connection because of the risk in
revealing the drow connection...

Not sure I agree about the 'drow nature' - they seem to vary
quite a bit.
