take these links .. it explains alot about Dreamtime and related subjects.. hopes it helps out .. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dreamtime http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Australian_Aboriginal_mythology http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rainbow_Serpent http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Australian_Aboriginal_mythology =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= I was wondering about whether it would make sense to have something of a SJ/Planscape cross-over in Maj Space. This would be based on Melanesia (Australia), with the aboriginal Dreamtime being a gateway off the Prime Material, likely into the dream-connected parts of the Astral, if I understand things correctly. Ayers Rock would be a portal out into wildspace, and to basically anywhere in Maj Space, stepping from dream space to dream space. There might be a tie-in with the dreaming goddess of Anubis, Anput, whoes dreams touch everywhere in Maj Space. A visit to her strange living dream palace of wonders, might be possible. In most cases it would be very difficult to return to the Prime Material anywhere but back on Melanesia, unless you really knew what you were doing. How would you go about spec-ing something like this up, so it fits in with Planescape? -- Dreamer dreamer@??????.?????.??.uk http://www.romsys.demon.co.uk/
