I can't believe I'm the only one to have thought about this, but
I noticed that the "Boat, Folding" Misc. Magic item in its ship
form is 24'x8'x6'...

Now, the minimum size object to have a gravity plane is 25', and
it seems to me that only a slightly larger than standard Folding
Boat, for it be 1 SG ton, either with a Minor Spelljamming Helm
enchantment on it, or similar from a scroll, would make a
remarkably useful emergency craft!

Now, if it had some sort of air enchantment, so it got the
standard four man-month air envelope, when you summoned it, it
would be really useful!

If nothing else it would be a good idea to store a few suitable
scrolls in the box.

The 3rdEd and 2ndEd version look very similar, but if you are a
3rdEd enchanter interested in spelljamming then it looks like a
really good idea.

How much tweaking to the standard magic item do people think
would be needed to make a minimum size SJ-capable craft, assuming
all the other stuff it done using scrolls?

Thoughts?
