I've not read the "Complete Divine", and that is part of the
issue with trying to do something as a SJ Campaign Setting - it
should not depend on anything except the PHB/DMG/MM or SRD, and
the SJ rules.

The other problem is the usual one with prestige classes - what
does the character do until they are actually good enough to
qualify for the class?

-- The idea of Adeptus Mil is that the Roma army disrupts its
existing structure as little as possible while providing support
against enemy spellcasters.  A starting AM would be 1st, and be a
sort of auxiliary, like a chaplin or medic.

-- There is no room for clerics who will try and push their own
agendas (i.e. those of their religions) rather than the interests
of the army.  The army wouldn't want to appear to be pushing one
religion.

--  The army is probably made from 3rd-5th level soldiers
(veterans), less than 7th, and with no clerics; what would the
potential Warpriests do until they reached say 7th level Cleric?


It would be nice to use an existing class or maybe prestige
class, but it looks as though I'd have to do the (hopefully
minimal) work.
