I seem to remember reading in the CoAS that the spheres were unable to
be marked or directly effected by any known forces. In my game I view
them as the seemingly solid representation of the planar interface as
you go from the Flow to Wildspace. It looks like a solid, feels like a
solid, but is more akin to superstring material.
