The RPGNow.com PDF download allows you to save the text out of
the basic CoAS/LotV.  Unfortunately, the OCR is flawed, and is
seriously messed-up on the pages which don't have a left-handed
Sidebar.  There are also (minor) OCR errors.

I've taken the Foreword, Chapter 1 and Chapter 2, and with quite
a lot of work converted this into marked-up text, which then
converts OK into HTML.  The conversion program automatically
makes the Contents page into hypertext links.  I hope to do the
rest at some later point.

My aim is to then insert the minimal 3rdEd changes we've been
working on.  And have a version on my palmtop, and a printed
version.

As I understand it, this must be for my private use only, so I
can't (legally) pass this on to anyone else.  The only exception
might be if WotC made a special exception of some sort.

Presumably WotC makes some money each time RPGNow.com sells a
download - might WotC be persuaded to allow RPGNow.com to sell
our 3rdEd conversion as a download?

This would seem to require minimal effort on their part.  We
wouldn't get any money out of this, of course, (I expect we might
get credited) but it would mean 3rdEd SJ might be more widely
spread.
