If we can use this while following the principle of 'minimum
change', then I would strongly be in favour of this.

If there is something simpler that uses far more of the standard
3rdEd combat system that I'd have thought we should seriously
consider that instead.

I suppose that I'd better go and give it a thorough read-through,
though 3rdEd combat is probably the part of the new rules that
I'm least happy with.
