First hack at converting Enhance Maneuverability to 3rdEd. The original spec referred to 'Increase Maneuverability' in the text, so I corrected that to 'Enhance Maneuverability'. Converted to match Increase Rating, which seems to work as a method even though that targets the helmsman, not the whole ship. The saving throw presumably applies only to living ships. Added a note about minimum MC, as the mechanics don't support anything worse than F. As for the logic of the material component, I'm assuming the wind can be blowing to your advantage or disadvantage! 2ndEd: ----------------------------------------------------------------- Enhance Maneuverability (Alteration) Reversible Range: 10 yards Components: V, S, M Duration: 1-4 rounds plus caster's level Casting Time: 5 Area of Effect: 1 ship of up to 10 times the caster's level in tonnage Saving Throw: None or Neg This spell may be cast on any ship to either increase or decrease its maneuverability class (MC). A ship MC may only be increased or decreased by one class using this spell.
