I would suggest that gnomish devices suffer crits MUCH more frequently
than on a mere 1. Perhaps 1-5 (25% of the time) might be a reasonable
average for them. Also some flavor text on the mind numbing complexity
of bells, whistles, etc the device has.

Nice start, I like this idea. Gnomish Absurdity on a monthly basis.
