I really like the idea of a Bigby's Hand/Fist/Finger type series of spells for this. It would add continuity of feel and would also allow for the introduction of a ne iconic character for the SJ Setting. (i.e. ___________'s Rope of Rescue, ________'s Rope of Binding, etc.) Or is that's too much trouble attribute it to an already existing NPC such as Gamalon Idogyr of the Rock of Bral. This way we expand crunch AND fluff! Comparison with equivalent level spells in the SRD will keep us honest as far as making sure the level of power each spell has is appropriate for 3.5. Unfortunately writing new spells is a weak point of mine so I probably will not be adding any to this list, however I will happily help with the SRD comparisons.
