Locate Portal - 2nd summary

Second summary, hopefully not too contoversial!


This spell is currently only done for the Sorcerer and Wizard
classes - Bards, Druids, Paladins and Rangers (etc) are still not
decided.

Bards seem most related to Sorcerers, and as arcane Spellcasters
I'm afraid that I don't understand what prevents them learning
any spell that a Sorcerer could - is it just a 'style' thing?

Druids, Paladins and Rangers are divine Spellcasters and I'd be
inclined to say that if they have the Wildspace domain they can
use this spell, if not no. Of course they have more restricted
spell lists than Clerics, and I don't understand how these are
worked out - it it a question of what the Power that provides
them with their spells thinks is appropriate for them?

I have no idea what the spell levels might be for Bards, Druids,
Paladins and Rangers. As Sorcerer for Bards, otherwise as Cleric?

Also, what are the Granted Powers for the Wildspace domain needs
to be added.

Range: Long (400 ft. + 40 ft./level)
Target: Crystal sphere
Duration: 1 round
Saving Throw: None
Spell Resistance: No

The caster of a Locate Portal spell can find the nearest portal
through a crystal shell either into or out of the Flow.  The
spell indicates direction and distance (either in miles if it is
close, or in days of travel time at Spelljamming speed).

In general, from any point on a crystal shell, the portals for a
normal-sized ship are from 2-20 days away from any location.  At
the GM's option, there may be more portals than normal available,
less, or none at all.

Focus: A conch shell.

While this will not normally be the case the GM may choose to
define that the Locate Portal spell does not work within certain
crystal spheres; it will always work in the Flow.
