There are some dangers, yes.  Flying creatures, wizards who see the
vessel, and weather should be a serious problem.   Spelljammers are
_not_ C-130s.  They are not aerodynamic at all, storms and wind would
really do a number on them.

Spelljammer trade wouldn't be impossible, but it wouldn't be easy and simple, either.
