Sorry to have taken so long to reply to this, I've been aboard ship for the last few weeks and have not had a chance to catch up on my email. V/R FC2 Riley, James R. cel: 228-249-2967 e-mail: jamesriley@???.net This one (or the next one sounds a bit like a tactical helm). Actually if you want a single use helm then a magic scroll (with create minor helm on it) and a chair will be easier and cheaper to make. An alternative to this one shot thing is to have a furnace helm that eats itself instead of another item. Maybe it could pop out of existence at the end of a certain amount of time. Or perhaps the helm could slowly melt (as if made from ice). In response, I use something very much like this for my long range missile drives. My missiles are powered by one-shot "engines" or helms that burn up as they are used, however the big difference is that they still require a fuel source (spell levels) that are provided by small magic batteries (each holds 32 spell levels, 4 batteries per missile). I like your idea better, it is cheaper, but how is it made, and what are the stats? ******************************************************************** The D&D Homepage: http://www.wizards.com/dnd The Spelljammer Homepage: http://www.spelljammer.org To unsubscribe, send email to LISTSERV@??????.???????.com with UNSUB SPELLJAMMER-L in the body of the message.
