Not always, it depends on what their choices are for their sword quest. The
paladin ships that I created for them were called marlins until I saw that
someone had already created a marlin class that bears only a passing
resemblance to mine. I guess I'll have to rename mine wahoo or something.
These paladin ships come equipped with an AI just like an intelligent sword
would and are outfitted with all the magic amenities that can be crammed
into a 5 ton ship. some of the starknights in my sphere have called
smalljammers or kindori as steeds. Anyway, the starknights in FeOsphere fall
into the military organization as sort of a cross between scouts and special
operations groups and tend to travel in threes unless a deity calls them
away individually. They do get blasters when they graduate from the academy
for free. And when it is time for one of them to call a steed, if they have
performed a noteworthy deed, then the senate may grant funds to have one
built for them. I figured cost at around 250,000 gp for a low end model
steedship, but most cost up to 400,000 gp.

Maybe on his way back home. You see something he has been trying to do for  
quite some time now is find the path through the flow back to his home
sphere.  
But the idea of a paladin getting a ship for a steed is something I would 
allow  myself. Do these StarKnights get an energy sword as their Holy
Avenger?
