Seeing "Cluster"-space just made me think of my army days. Man, was AC
ever a clusterf--k.

Honestly, I think it takes a whole lot more than a little tweaking to
fix but I think it can be done (first, throw out the "themes"/plots).
One of AC's biggest problems was it tried to be bigger and better in
every way. Larger ships, larger plots, faster ships, larger empires,
larger evil, and on, and on, and on. Anyway, you'll have to pull out
your copy, compare it to my document, and see if it really does turn AC
into something usable (and maybe even useful).

What's really sad is that in all that they actually put a nice ship
(lanceship) and some interesting tech items that you might want to
salvage for use elsewhere if you've already wasted the money on the
set.
