You need to read some of his other editorials. I recall on ein the early days of 3e where he talks about the 3e stuff coming out and bemoans how all these people are putting out monster manuals and other bland, basic to the game fair. All he wants to see is something new and different and ... whatever. He also foisted the ignorant ethereal invasion on Living Greyhawk and has generally made a poor impression on me every time I see him write an editorial or make a decision regarding anything. I can get over him not liking SJ (it definitely always had very narrow appeal) but even how he treats GH (which he supposedly loves) and fantasy gaming/gamers in general screams the man should be fired, not given yet another magazine to edit (he's now editor of both Dragon and Dungeon and I've dropped my subscriptions to both as they have become completely useless). --- Night_Druid <Night_Druid@??????????.net> wrote: > > Agreed, Erik Moron was just showing how wrongheaded he was with his > ousting > > of the Giff of the Polyhedron fiasco > > I think Erik made a flippant comment (I know I've done that many > times, > sometimes without even realizing it!) and then got defensive about > it.
