If you want a steam engine.. Use heat metal with a permanency spell as a boiler and a chill metal as a condenser. More spells = more horse power -----Original Message----- From: Discussion list for the Spelljammer campaign setting [mailto:SPELLJAMMER-L@??????.???????.com] On Behalf Of Michael Shell Sent: July 25, 2005 1:04 PM To: SPELLJAMMER-L@??????.???????.com Subject: Re: [SPELLJAMMER] Steam engine/Helm burning engines are not recommended for intersphere travel. however within a given sphere that could be fine. if everyone will allow this I do know a book that has different engines that works well enough for SpellJammer in 3.X edition D&D and that's Airships by Bastion Press. Heck even some of thier ships are strange enough to be used in SJ without attracting undue attention. ******************************************************************** The D&D; Homepage: http://www.wizards.com/dnd The Spelljammer Homepage: http://www.spelljammer.org To unsubscribe, send email to LISTSERV@??????.???????.com with UNSUB SPELLJAMMER-L in the body of the message.
