Good point. Basically any class could now use the helm, even if they
cross-classed the skill. Figured even a psion could use a helm, so long as
they have enough skill points to knowledge or use magic device.

Ah, that. Mostly to distinguish spelljamming ships from standard ships,
and partially it was a figure of speech. I hadn't thought about the "slap a
helm to a galleon & take off" aspect of helms. I really could go either way
with that.
Look for my coming on the seventh month of the fifth year. At dawn look to
the world were the Trio (plus one) that is Untouchable reigns supreme
