I am running Tradewars 2002 on my Bulletin Board. I did not buy the whole package, I opted for the BBS version at the moment. You can run the TWS as a server type MUD game instead of a BBS dependent online door. With the GOLD version, you can rename and modify the ships in the game. You can also modify and add custom created aliens. Yes, if you have the time and the right TWS version you can make a spelljammer inspired TWS universe.
