Postings of FLUFF

Hey, Paul?

I remember this subject coming up before, though I'm not at all sure when it
last surfaced. I'll toss out the same comment again - although I don't do
the play-by-email thing, nor read the transcripts, I may be in the minority.
For that reason, I think that your FLUFF posts are really a nice thing to
do.

The List may not be teeming with posts about your FLUFF, but remember that
fan followings on the Internet are not always very "vocal" - or if they are,
it is not always where the material appears that they are vocal.

Heck, I've seen only a tiny sprinkling of List posts about my SJ novel, "The
Bri'kerzz Sweep," (for newer List members -
http://spelljammer.org/tales/#StoriesBigandSmall - direct link is on the top
of the page), yet I'm told (by hearsay and second-hand reports) that the
Elnamerrna, Tyfelian, and his team have a noticeable following somewhere
else - among people who play the EverQuest online game, strangely enough.

As far as I'm concerned, your FLUFF posts have been going on for so long
that they are part of the identity of the SJ List. You keep right on doing
what you're doing! I would miss them if they vanished, even though I don't
read them! I'm sure that others do. :)
