New to this List

Hey All,
    New to this list though I've been involved in some rather hearty
discussions in the past on others. A quick glance at the archives
shows me a number of familiar faces.

     As a starting question, I was looking over the website and
noticed in the rules section there was the 2e/3e hybrid rules for ship
to ship combat.. my question is though.. what are people USING? Has
there been a community set down where everyone's really decided what
they're going to use as not necessarily 'official' but at least
'convetion'?

     Obviously this question involves 3.X/D20 though I'm much looking
forward to seeing how HackJammer comes out.
