    While I don't know anything about this "Hackjammer"...<heh, sure...>
Hackmaster is basically a hybrid of old 1e AD&D with a little Skills &
Powers mixed in.  Everything is very compatable with 1e/2e with the most
minute work: for creatures & NPCs, add (or subtract, depending on your
preference) the 20 hp kicker (given to everything at 1st level, although
some creatures like pixie-fairies get only a 10 hp kicker).  Some people
don't like the humor, which can range from clever to tolit-humor in style,
but I personally find it very enjoyable.  NPCs are often petty, dishonest,
backstabbing, and out for themselves...in other words, act like real people
(in my opinion :).

    As far as the third fanboy is, I "have no idea...", though I've heard
he's a rat-bastard of a DM who likes to send his PCs to distant spheres for
the sole purpose of feeding them as "tasty meat-snacks" to his pet
dinosaurs... ;)
